I have found the soundtrack to Glee online. I am very very happy. :> So, I've been listening to that recently. It's a good uplifter.
Got an 88 on my math test. This has made me happy.
8 more days until I get to go home and see my wonderful sister and mah Matt and my family. <3 SO EXCITED YES. |

Good news is that I fixed the problem with my tablet! The driver it came with that I tried to install on this computer is too old for this computer. Lawl. So, I just went to the Wacom site and downloaded a new driver. So, that was fixed.
Bad news is that I'm still out Photoshop. I'm using Photoshop Version 5.0. Yeah. Turns out it's too old for my computer as well. CS4 is around $700. As a poor Med student, I don't have the funds at the moment. So, I'm downloading a trial version to see if I can even figure out CS4 before I decide to invest it.
Would anyone be interested in comissions from me? :'D I'm not sure about prices yet, but this is a general 'HAY I'M INTERESTED.' journal.

I have a new laptop. It's gorgeous. It's more than I ever expected. It's an HP Pavillion, and it's got a quad core processor. HAPPY.
Start job again next week. 3 days of work! YAY!
And I'm in a considerably better mood, so I deleated the ranting entry. =] It served its purpose, and now I'm good! |

Saw Transformers at the IMAX theater.
HOLY SHIT.
For those of you that don't know the depth of how awesome this is - the IMAX theater is an auditorium with a sceeen that's 5 STORIES HIGH.

So, we've moved the old N64 to the living room and hooked it up to the flatscreen plasma tv. BANJO KAZOOIE ON FLATSCREEN IS LOVE. Seriously, I've been playing it so much recently. >w< And you know you're a geek when you can remember where most of the Jiggies are. He he.

Guys, please don't drink too much. Hell, if you do, don't drive anywhere.
Before prom, we had to sit through this presentation by SADD/MADD (Students against destructive decisions/ mothers against drunk driving), and it was given by a lady who had lost her daughter to a drunk driver. She was only 16. She was pulling out of her friend's driveway one night, and was hit. The guy slammed into her. I'm not kidding. A couple seconds before impact, he hit the Nos. (Nitrous Oxide, it makes your car FLY.) He was going around 103 when he hit her. We saw photos of the crash, along with photos of the girl. We heard stories of her thoughout her life. Baby pictures and all. Needless to say, I broke down in tears. And this was someone whom I've never met. I can't imagine what it would be like if it was someone I knew. I know I haven't met half of you guys IRL, but that doesn't mean that I don't care.
Also, I heard from a friend of mine that two seniors from a neighboring high school went and got drunk on the beach today because it was their last day. One guy passed out and the other was vomiting uncontrollably. They were rushed to the hospital with severe sun and alcohol poisoning. One just woke up about a half hour ago, and the other is floating in and out of consciousness. According to my friend, they're "totally unresponsive." Just keep them in your prayers, if you pray. I don't know them personally, but I really don't like to see anyone's life in danger.
Please guys. If this dissuades just one of you guys from doing something like this, I'll be the happiest person in the world. |

Ah, tis the season for hurricanes. Fa la la... ah yes.
It's been like what, a hurricane developing every week that threatens to hit my state? XD NOAA, here I come! Sometimes I seriously regret not wanting to be a meteorologist anymore. :< It's too much math for me.
But anyway, I should have some comic pages up soon. :D I'm starting a new one to ease my mind. It's about all the funny stuff that happened at work over the summers. It should be fun. |

Survived the hell week! (Marching band camp) To be honest, it wasn't all that bad this year since it was later. I did get burned again, but it's nothing like the blisters from last year. :>
-School starts tuesday. YAY ART CLASSES.
and steak quesadillas from Taco Bell are amazing. That is all. |

Arr @ stupid uniform people who yell at me because they wait until 2 weeks before school starts and can't find their uniforms/we don't have their size/etc. "Yeah, like yelling at me's gonna make me pull it out of my ass." (Haha, my manager's awesome.)
